Our 20-Point Pond Maintenance Checklist - We Perform this Checklist on Every Visit!
1. Check the general appearance of the pond/stream and cover exposed liner, fix potential leak areas, etc.
2. Clean/Inspect Skimmer Basket-Filters, Bio-Falls Filters, Bog Filters and/or Pond-Less Filters as needed
3. Check and/or install pumps and remove debris from pump impeller as needed
4. Check Plumbing/Fittings, Check Valve Assemblies and Skimmer
5. Check Auto Drain Lines to be sure they are free of debris or any blockage
6. Hand remove string algae, leaves, and other organic matter as needed
7. Add either: equil easy does it™ (liquid beneficial bacteria and barley treatment) OR, equil bullseye™ (powder barley and beneficial bacteria) as needed
8. Add equil clean rock™ (stain powder) as needed
9. Add equil power floc™ (concentrated flocculant that binds dirt particles) as needed
10. Add equil foamless™ (eliminates unsightly foam in ponds) as needed
11. Provide a partial water change as needed if time allows
12. Inspect and adjust lights, replace bulbs as necessary 
13. Add gravel to cover exposed liner as necessary
14. Inspect the stream and/or waterfall to ensure proper water flow
15. Check for shifted pond rocks and adjust as necessary
16. Inspect, trim and thin aquatic plants as necessary
17. Livestock health check (visual check)
18. Blow leaves and other debris from around pond/stream perimeter and adjoining pathways and patios
19. Test water quality and check supplies
20. Top pond off, check water level and adjust auto-fill valve (if so equipped.)
