On-Site Design Consultation

Considering a water feature for your back yard? Contact us for an on-site design consultation – it is a great investment of your time and money. A design professional from Waterscapes Pro will spend as much time as you need, to walk you through the design process and answer all your questions. Our consultant will evaluate your property for the best location and layout, given the particulars of your yard, making sure to incorporate your ideas - with our creative insight - to provide a one of a kind, natural looking masterpiece. Be it a small patio pond or a beautiful woodland stream, it all starts with the design process and on-site consultation. Within 1-2 days following our visit, you will have a firm quote for a “turnkey installation” for your new water feature. We charge a nominal fee for this service that will be applied to your contract price should you decide to use our company for professional pond construction.

The Costs

There is more to it than just water. The cost of any water feature can vary depending on the size of the feature, the location chosen for construction, the amount of materials and equipment used during construction. This is the reason Waterscapes Pro offers on-site water feature design consultations at your home or business.

Prior to your design-consultation, an informational package will be mailed to you, including among other things, a DVD presentation that will help you understand the type of natural, ecologically balanced water features we build and the ease of maintenance they require.

One of our objectives during the consultation process is to educate on just how far the technology has advanced on these new low maintenance systems we install. There has been quite an evolution, over the last 5 to 10 years, both with the materials and parts we use as well as the construction techniques to build natural ponds. We will help provide an education for you, the consumer, as to the differences between various koi ponds, water gardens and pondless or pond-free waterfalls systems.

At the time of your design consultation, in most cases we will be prepared to give you not just an estimate but firm pricing for your waterscape installation, review available construction dates and sign a contract on the spot if needed.

The design consultation fee starts at $75 and increases with distance from Charlotte.
